How to use perfume

Apply After a Shower
The best time to spray is right after you’ve showered and dried off. Your pores are open, and your skin is warm and clean, which helps it absorb the fragrance better.

 

Moisturize First
Perfume clings better to hydrated skin. If you have dry skin, the scent may disappear quickly. Try applying an unscented lotion or body oil before your perfume to give the scent something to "hold on" to.

 

Target Your Pulse Points
Apply the fragrance to areas where your blood flows closest to the skin, like your wrists, neck, and behind the ears. The warmth from these spots helps "activate" the perfume and diffuse the scent into the air around you.

 

Don't Rub Your Wrists Together
This is a common mistake. Rubbing your wrists creates friction that can heat up the perfume too quickly and break down the delicate "top notes" (the first scents you smell), making the fragrance fade faster or smell slightly different than intended.

 

Spray on Clothes for Longevity
As you mentioned, fabric holds fragrance much longer than skin does because it doesn't have the heat or natural oils to burn off the scent quickly.

Understanding Oud & Perfume Oils

Perfume oil is a highly concentrated fragrance made by blending aromatic compounds into an oil base rather than alcohol. It develops slowly on the skin, lasts longer, and requires only a small amount with each application.


What is pure oud?
Pure oud, also known as Agarwood oil, is a rare natural oil produced from Aquilaria trees. Its scent is deep and complex, often woody, smoky, or animalic. Genuine pure oud is extremely rare and valuable.

 

Is all oud the same?
No. Oud varies greatly depending on origin, age, and distillation method. Each region produces a different scent profile, making oud a highly personal fragrance choice.

 

What is the difference between pure oud and oud perfume oil?
Pure oud is 100% natural agarwood oil and consists of a single, unblended note. Oud perfume oil, by contrast, is a fragrance inspired by the character of oud, formulated using a blend of natural and synthetic materials to make it more wearable and suitable for everyday use.

Are your fragrances alcohol-free?

Yes. Longevity depends on skin type and usage, but many customers experience 8–24 hours with our oils and long-lasting wear with perfumes due to the high concentration.
